Meet Samantha Banhart
Samantha Banhart is a salon educator and hairstylist with over 20 years of experience behind the chair. In 2022, she founded Veil Beauty Collective, an education-focused salon space dedicated to raising industry standards through thoughtful service, inclusive practices, and continued learning.

Samantha is known for her technical expertise in hair extensions and her commitment to teaching stylists how to approach installs with intention rather than relying on a single, one-size-fits-all method. Her classes focus on helping stylists understand the reasoning behind each step of the installation process so they can confidently customize extensions for every client.

By emphasizing the fundamentals of scalp health, hair integrity, and strategic placement, Samantha equips stylists with the knowledge needed to create extension installs that are secure, comfortable, and tailored to each client’s natural hair.

Customization & Install Techniques


No two extension installs should ever be the same. You’ll learn how to analyze each client’s unique hair type, growth pattern, and goals in order to determine the best placement and method. Samantha will walk you through Hidden Bead Weft installation techniques, placement mapping, and the “why” behind every decision so you can confidently customize each install for seamless, natural-looking results.

Tools, Systems & Building a Profitable Service


Beyond the technical skills, we’ll cover the tools, products, and systems that make extension services run smoothly in the salon. You’ll learn about the equipment you need, helpful apps and tools for managing extension clients, how to elevate the overall client experience, and how to price your services so that extensions become a profitable and sustainable part of your business.

  • I am so excited to have you attend one of my Extension Master Classes!

    We will start the day with a slideshow on consultations, scalp concerns, differences in methods, identifying ideal client, apps and tools, elevating the experience and more!

    We will then move into the demo portion of the class.

    I will demonstrate various techniques on a live model.

    We will use our consultation checklist to identify placement and install methods for our models unique needs.

    You will be able to get your hands in the models hair and learn how to identify the “why’s” behind how you can customize each install.

    We will break for a short lunch and then begin the hands on portion!

    You will each be provided with a mannequin.

    I will assist you as you recreate your version of my install method
